The festive season always bring an array of webcams celebrating Christmas and New Years Eve, which are usually some of the best of the year. This year is no different, so betweeen avoiding eating too many mince pies and the dreaded extended family, enjoy a few of the webcams that this year has to offer.
Santa’s reindeers’ have finished their job of pulling his sleigh around the world, but thankfully are now enjoying a well-deserved rest back in their pen. Elves Lewis and Wesley have been looking after the Reindeer Cam and reindeers Mrs. Stix, Twig, Russel, Penny, Trixy, and Buster. One of the first places on Earth to celebrate the new year will be Australia, and you can watch them do so at Sydney Harbour. Their annual NYE firework display draws a crowd of 1.6 million, along with a billion viewers that watch on television and online.
The webcam of the celebrations at Times Square in New York is a regular fixture online, featuring its iconic crystal ball dropping to mark the turn of the year. It will also show an array of pop stars.
