Amidst the Christmas and New Year celebrations, the Winter weather means that many have been enjoying ice skating. Today’s webcam from Kelowna, Canada, shows people wrapped up warm, sliding around the Stuart Park ice rink.
The webcam was recently installed so locals can see the conditions of the rink before heading down for a skate. If the rink is closed for the day or just temporarily for maintenance, a sign is placed in view of the webcam so people don’t waste a journey to the ice rink.
The ice rink opened earlier in December. It is thought it will remain open until February or March.
