Another year has gone, and that means another excuse for one too many drinks and to set off a few fireworks! As always, webcams from around the world will capture the New Year’s Eve celebrations. Here are Camscape’s selection of webcams to check out:
As featured last year on Camscape, Icelandic telecoms company Mila have several webcams around their home country showing New Year’s Eve celebrations. You can check out those webcams here.
EarthCam will have a live webcam showing the New Year’s celebrations in Times Square in New York City. There is even the ability to watch the celebrations in 3D – if you can find a pair of old red and blue glasses locked away in a cupboard!

One of the first places with a webcam to welcome the new year is Auckland, New Zealand. Sydney will also be one of the first to celebrate – you can watch them on this Sydney Harbour webcam.
If that isn’t enough, you can see the celebrations in Brussels on several different webcams here. There are also webcams from Bangkok, Thailand or Newcastle, England.
