With Winter weather hitting many parts of the world, in Indiana children and adults alike are enjoying Pokagon State Park’s toboggan run in snowy surroundings.
The run is now on webcam thanks to funding from the Steuben County Tourism Bureau. It is placed on a tower at the top of the run, giving viewers a clear view of its length.
This toboggan run is the only one in Indiana. Going on it can be quite a hair-raising experience, as speeds of 40 mph can be reached on the quarter mile descent. It is open for use whatever the weather thanks to the run being refrigerated if the temperature goes above freezing.
You can check out Pokagon State Park’s toboggan run webcam here. You can also see a video of what it is like to do the run here. The run is open every weekend until 24 February.
